Programming the 433-EC Alarm Monitor:
Instructions for cordless bed and chair pads GBT-RI, GBT-WI, and GCT-WI:
1. Have batteries in place (3 x C) or attach the AC adapter to the alarm monitor.
2. Have the bed pad you wish to program close by you in a position where you can easily apply pressure (either on a table in front of you or on the floor in front of you).
3. Taking a paper clip, push it into the hole on the back of the alarm monitor marked ‘Program’. Hold paperclip in place until the two outer lights on the front of the alarm monitor become solid red. Now remove the paper clip.
4. Slowly press down on the sensor pad with either your foot or your hand, watching the two solid red lights on the alarm monitor.
5. Once you see the red lights flash and then return to solid, release the pressure from the sensor pad.
6. Repeat this process if you have other pads or items to program into your alarm monitor.
7. Once more, take the paperclip, and insert it into the ‘Program’ hole on the back of the alarm monitor, then immediately remove the paper clip.
8. The lights on the front of the alarm monitor will flash twice and then turn off.
9. Now your pad is programmed to the alarm monitor.
Test your system
1. Turn the alarm to ‘chime’ (located on side of alarm).
2. Place pressure on the pad with either your hand or foot. Now release that pressure.
3. Your alarm should sound.
4. To silence, turn alarm monitor off, (switch located on side of the alarm).
Instructions for cordless floor mat FMT-05C or FMT-07C:
1. Have batteries in place (3 x C) or attach the AC adapter to the alarm monitor.
2. Have the floor mat you wish to program close by you in a position where you can easily access the corner transmitter pouch. The transmitter power switch should be in the 'Off' position.
3. Taking a paper clip, push it into the hole on the back of the alarm monitor marked ‘Program’. Hold paperclip in place until the two outer lights on the front of the alarm monitor become solid red. Now remove the paper clip.
4. Turn the transmitter power switch to the 'On' position.
5. Step on the floor mat.
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 if you have other floor mats to program into your alarm monitor.
7. Once more, take the paperclip, and insert it into the ‘Program’ hole on the back of the alarm monitor, then immediately remove the paper clip.
8. The lights on the front of the alarm monitor will flash twice and then turn off, ending the programming process.
Test your system
1. Turn the alarm to ‘chime’, (located on side of alarm).
2. Step on the floor mat.
3. Your alarm should sound.
4. To silence, turn alarm monitor off, (switch located on side of the alarm).
Instructions for motion sensor 433-MS:
1. Have batteries in place (3x C for the alarm, 2x AA for the motion sensor) or attach optional AC Adapters.
2. Place the motion sensor you wish to program within reach and extend the antenna.
3. Taking a paper clip, push it into the hole on the back of the alarm monitor marked ‘Program’. Hold paperclip in place until the two outer lights on the front of the alarm monitor become solid red. Now remove the paper clip.
4. Turn the motion sensor on and pass your hand in front of the lens.
5. Repeat step 4 if you have other motion sensors.
6. Once more, take the paperclip, and insert it into the ‘Program’ hole on the back of the alarm monitor, then immediately remove the paper clip.
7. The lights on the front of the alarm monitor will flash twice and then turn off.
8. Now your motion sensor is programmed to the alarm monitor.
Test your system
1. Turn the alarm to ‘chime’ (located on side of alarm)
2. Wave your hand in front of the motion sensor.
3. Your alarm should sound.
4. To silence, turn alarm monitor off, (switch located on side of the alarm).
Instructions for nursecall button 433-NC:
1. Have batteries in place (3x C for the alarm, small 12v in button, if not already installed) or attach optional AC Adapter to alarm monitor.
2. Place the nursecall button you wish to program within reach.
3. Taking a paper clip, push it into the hole on the back of the alarm monitor marked ‘Program’. Hold paperclip in place until the two outer lights on the front of the alarm monitor become solid red. Now remove the paper clip.
4. Press the nursecall button.
5. Repeat step 4 if you have other nursecall buttons to program.
6. Once more, take the paperclip, and insert it into the ‘Program’ hole on the back of the alarm monitor, then immediately remove the paper clip.
7. The lights on the front of the alarm monitor will flash twice and then turn off.
8. Now your nursecall button is programmed to the alarm monitor.
Test your system
1. Turn the alarm to ‘chime’ (located on side of alarm)
2. Press on the nursecall button.
3. Your alarm should sound.
4. To silence, turn alarm monitor off, (switch located on side of the alarm).
Instructions for remote reset button 433-RB:
1. Follow instructions for programming any other item to be used with your alarm, up until the point of taking the paper clip and pressing it into the ‘Program’ hole for the second time. DO NOT put the paperclip back in that hole yet.
2. Press the remote reset button.
3. Now take the paperclip, and insert it into the ‘Program’ hole on the back of the alarm monitor, then immediately remove the paper clip.
4. The lights on the front of the alarm monitor will flash twice and then turn off.
5. Now your reset button is programmed to the alarm monitor.
Test your system
1. Turn the alarm to ‘chime’ (located on side of alarm)
2. Trigger a different item programmed to your alarm monitor.
3. Your alarm should sound.
4. To silence, press your reset button.
Programming the 433-CMU Central Monitor:
Clear out the Monitor
1. Move the switch on the side of the monitor to the ‘Unlocked’ position.
2. Hold down the ‘Record/ Add’ button until you hear 2 beeps AND a melodic tone.
3. Press the ‘Reset’ button once.
4. When you let go there should be multiple numbers flashing across the screen. This means the monitor has nothing programmed in anymore.
Add a Component
1. Move the switch on the side of the monitor to the ‘Unlocked’ position.
2. Hold down the ‘Replace/add’ button until you hear 2 beeps AND a melodic tone.
3. Press and release the “Record/add’ button and wait for 1 beep AND a melodic tone, (it can take awhile for the tone to sound).
4. Press/ apply pressure to whatever you are adding, releasing when the monitor makes a sound and the display flashes the number of the item you are programming in.
5. Press the ‘Reset’ button on the front of the monitor.
6. Move the switch on the side to the ‘Locked’ position.
7. Test the new item.
Replace a Component
1. Move the switch on the side of the monitor to the ‘Unlocked’ position.
2. Hold down the ‘Replace/add’ button until you hear 2 beeps AND a melodic tone.
3. Press the ‘Call Review’ button until you can get to the number you would like to replace.
4. Press/apply pressure to/turn on whatever new component you are trying to replace an old one with, releasing when the monitor makes a sound and the display flashes the number of the item you are programming in.
5. Press the ‘Reset’ button on the front of the monitor.
6. Move the switch on the side to the ‘Locked’ position.
7. Test the new item.
Programming the 433-CMU Central Monitor:
Clear out the Monitor
1. Move the switch on the side of the monitor to the ‘Unlocked’ position.
2. Hold down the ‘Program Components’ button and the ‘Reset’ button at the same time, until you hear two beeps AND a melodic tone.
3. Press the ‘Reset’ button once.
a. Afterwards there should be multiple numbers flashing across the screen. This means the central monitor programming has been completely cleared..
Program a Component to a cleared Monitor
1. Move the switch on the side of the monitor to the ‘Unlocked’ position.
2. Hold down the ‘Program Components’ button until you hear two beeps AND a melodic tone.
3. Press/apply pressure to/turn on your first component.
4. Once you hear the channel number the component has been programmed as (should be #1), followed by a series of beeps AND the melodic tone, press/apply pressure to/turn on your second component.
5. Once you hear the channel number the second component has been programmed as (should be #2), followed by a series of beeps AND the melodic tone, press/apply pressure to/turn on your third component.
6. Repeat this process until all components have been programmed, making sure you have received the confirmation melodic tone after each component.
7. Move the switch on the side to the Lock position.
8. Press the Reset button.
9. Test each component.
Add a Component to an already programmed Monitor
(note that cordless floor mats should start this process with their transmitters turned OFF; cordless bed and chair sensor pads should have their transmitters turned ON):
1. Move the switch on the side of the monitor to the ‘Unlocked’ position.
2. Hold down the ‘Add/Replace New Component’ button until you hear 2 beeps AND a melodic tone.
3. Press and release the ‘Program Components’ button. Do not proceed to the next step until you hear a chime tone. It may take a little bit before you hear the chime.
4. Press/apply 2-3 seconds of pressure to/turn on whatever component you are adding. If it is a floor mat, walk on the mat after you turn the transmitter on. Step off once you hear noise from the monitor.
5. You should hear/see the channel number the component has been programmed as, followed by a series of chimes/beeps AND a melodic tone.
6. Once you have heard that melodic tone, if you have another component to program, repeat steps 4 and 5.
7. Move the switch on the side back to the ‘Locked’ position.
8. Press the ‘Reset’ button on the front of the CMU.
9. Test all the components to make sure programming was successful.
Replace a Component
1. Move the switch on the side of the monitor to the ‘Unlocked’ position.
2. Hold down the ‘Add/Replace New Component’ button until you hear 2 beeps AND a melodic tone.
3. Press the ‘Call Review’ button until you can get to the number you would like to replace.
4. Press/apply pressure to/turn on whatever new component you are trying to replace an old one with.
5. Once you hear that same channel number being said again, move the switch on the side to the ‘Locked’ position.
6. Press the ‘Reset’ button on the front of the monitor.
7. Test the added component to make sure programming was successful.
