Our larger one year bed sensor pad. 20" x 30" with a safety release cord.

Compatible with Smart Caregiver TL-2100B, TL-2004E, TL-2100S, TL-2100V, TL-2100E, and TL-2016R alarm monitors (all sold separately).

Use this larger pad if you want a larger coverage area in the bed to help reduce false alarms. False alarms can be caused by:

1) Low patient weight, (under 120 lbs)
2) Use with certain types of mattresses or cushions, such as memory foam, Tempur-Pedic, air pressure alternating, gel cushions, or other ones designed to distribute pressure away from the body. When sensor pads are used on these surfaces, the mattresses/cushions distribute body pressure away from the pads, which can cause the pad to think that the patient is no longer upon it, triggering an alarm. Conversely, these mattresses/cushions can also cause delayed alarm issues. Our 20" x 30" sensor pad is more effective when used with these types of mattresses, regardless of patient weight.

Place this sensor pad at shoulder level to know when the patient is trying to sit up, before they try to stand.

Place at hip level to know when the patient is trying to leave the bed.
